Unraveling The Mystery - Aramu Muru
It has been over a decade that I started bringing tours to my homeland Peru. Many things have happened through the years when bringing spiritual seekers to the Rainforest, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca.
This year we went to Perú late September and October. It was very interesting to experience even further the Lake Titicaca area. One of my favorite places at the Lake is the Puerta de Hayu Marka or the Aramu Muru doorway. The locals call this door the Gateway to the Land of the Gods. The story tells that Amaru Muru and enlighten one was able to walk through the door to never return.
During the many years we have come to visit the Aramu Muru, we have brought prayers, offerings and Despacho Ceremonies (Inca Prayer Mandalas). In this way we have honored and acknowledged this Sacred Land which is known to be a very powerful vortex. Amaru Muru is certainly magical.
After driving for one hour by the side of Lake Titicaca, out of the blue, a new section of red hills appears from within an area of just granite rocks and mountains. This area resembles the red rocks of Sedona, and as you enter it, you can feel the energy of the place shifting . This energy is very light and invigorating. There is a hidden mystery at this location that I have been wanting to decipher. Every year, as I come to this place I know, I get closer and closer.
This year in October, I brought a group from the States and Canada to visit the Aramu Muru portal. My intention from the beginning had been to do an Inca prayer Mandala called Despacho, but as I got there something new came about as I was called to do something different first, and then the Despacho. My inner guidance told me to do a circle with deep red achiote powder and them with yellow turmeric powder. All these ingredients were bought a week earlier and I didn't know why I had bought them. I just saw them in the market and told the lady at the store that I needed them. After doing the circle with the two colors, then I put flowers petals and split the circle creating the four directions with the flowers.
When this was completed I realized I had done a medicine wheel that resembled that of the Native American people from the North. As I mentioned, this process was done without having a plan, I felt guided and then the four directions circle emerged as something that was needed to be done. The Sacred Circle was present through our second ceremony, the Despacho and Initiations. When we finished giving the Karpay initiation, Janice my partner and I stayed and did our blessings as the group moved to connect with the Sacred Gateway. During this moment my dear friend David took some photos of Janice and me during Ceremony. What we saw was incredible, it served as a confirmation from Spirit, the offering I had brought had been received by the Gateway of the Gods.
To our amazement, the gateway in combination with the energy and sunrays created an extraordinary photo, it looked like the portal has accepted our Medicine Wheel flower offering. The photo revealed a perfect balanced cross created by the sun ray, but then also by another ray of violet light that comes from a different source, which cannot be explained. It really mirrored the Four Directions medicine wheel we had just done as an offering. This revelation brought immediately to my attention, that since the 90's when I started my spiritual journey of working with Shamanism, Ayahuasca and sacred energy, the Ancient Inca prophecy mentioned that the great Shift will occur when the Condor and the Eagle will fly together, bringing about a big transformation to the world. Since the 80's many native Peruvian and South American shamans have traveled to North America and also to Europe bringing with them their medicine, teachings and ancient wisdom. Many Ceremonies have been performed during these years in the Northern Hemisphere. Many people from the North came down to learn the ways of the South. The Medicine of the Condor was openly taught to all these visitors and they, in turn, taught many people as they return to their homelands.
The revelation I am talking about is that only a few medicine men and women from North have come down to Perú and South America to honor with their medicine the Sacred Sites and the Shaman priests of the South. I feel that in order to create this flight of the Condor and the Eagle we need to do more Native American Medicine in Perú. There has to be a balanced relationship, we have to come into relation, into "Ayni" for this to really happen. This powerful photo certainly revealed that the Gateway mirrored what was offered that day as if we have to unite more and more these two medicines. This coming 2018 on the 15th of April I will be guiding a workshop tour on wheels. My intention is to bring the Medicine Wheel of the North to the many Sacred Sites in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca and Amaru Muru.
